On September 19th, the Nause-Waiwash Band of Indians hosted the 34th Annual Native American Festival at the Ball Field in Vienna, which were traditional feasting grounds for the tribe centuries ago. The spectacular event included a celebration of veterans; native dancing, singing, and instruments; and numerous vendor booths and delicious fry bread. The near-perfect weather helped ensure a great turnout. Many joined in the inclusive dance opportunities.
