On August 14, 2026, an interview with Patricia Johnson and Kathryn Masten, Vienna Heritage Society members, aired on Delmarva Public Radio about the Nanticoke River Shipwreck that will be on display at the Captain John Smith Nanticoke River Discovery Center starting on Saturday, August 29th. Tickets for the Battle of Vienna event on Vienna’s waterfront from 10am-4pm are available from the Town of Vienna Events page. The cost is $10 per person for $20 per family. Pat and Kathryn are also board members of the nonprofit Community Informatics Institute, the organization behind WVCI-LP 92.9 FM Vienna.
